Leon L400 Neutral Silicone Sealant is a high-performance, single-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant. It provides excellent adhesion to various surfaces such as glass, metal, PVC, plastic, and concrete. It is particularly suitable for exterior applications, glass installations, joinery installations, and PVC window and door applications. Thanks to its neutral curing feature, it does not cause corrosion on metals and can be safely used on a wide range of surfaces. This silicone offers superior resistance to UV rays, water, weather conditions, and extreme temperatures, ensuring long-lasting flexibility and durability. It is also highly effective in dynamic joints and areas subject to expansion, reducing the risk of cracking or separation.

Application Instructions:

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from oil, dust, dirt, and old sealant residues. If necessary, clean the surface with an appropriate cleaner and allow it to dry completely.
2. Sausage Packaging Preparation: Place the sausage packaging in a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. Cut the nozzle at an appropriate angle and attach it to the gun. Adjust the nozzle according to the required application width.
3. Sealant Application: Apply the sealant in an even line onto the joint gap or the surface to be bonded. Move the gun at a steady speed to ensure uniform distribution of the sealant. The applied sealant can be shaped with a spatula or finger.
4. Curing Time: Curing begins within 15-30 minutes. Full curing may take 24-48 hours depending on the application thickness and environmental conditions.
5. Cleaning: Uncured silicone can be easily cleaned with an appropriate cleaner. Once fully cured, mechanical methods may be required for removal.

Precautions:

• Application temperature should be between 5°C and 40°C.
• Do not apply on frozen surfaces or areas with standing water.
• Store out of the reach of children and wear gloves during application.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. If unopened, the product can be stored for up to 12 months from the production date.
